Hand-crafted in Vancouver.
Thanks to the dedicated and endless work of the female led cacao-cooperative in Huarango, our cacao beans have been fermented and sun-dried and are ready to be shipped to Vancouver, British Columbia to be gently roasted and transformed into this special chocolate bar by the expertise of Master Chocolatier March Röpke.
Our dedication at Common Ground Cacao: Crafting chocolate as intended, showcasing cacao’s natural aromas, and honoring Peruvian cacao farmers.
These native Marañón (Fortunato No.4) cacao beans display from harvest-to-harvest notes of a mild nuttiness, floral tones and subtle citrus flavors.
