All of our classes are focusing on learning the pastry arts on a professional level and are 100% hands-on.
The Professional Pastry Training Certificate Program includes 10 courses, with a total of 80 hours of learning.
Each course consists of a total of 8 hours, held over 2 consecutive day of 4 hours each.
Over the 80 hours of comprehensive education in the art and science of pastry making learning a wide variety of European based pastry techniques and recipes.
This program is designed to equip students with hands-on skills and knowledge needed for careers in the pastry industry or home chef wants to create delicious desserts and baked goods in your own kitchen.
Hands-on experience in a professional kitchen, instruction from experienced pastry chef, exposure to different baking methods and top ingredients, work at your own designated workstation, with the lowest student / instructor ratio (8:1) of any culinary school in Canada.
Learn the fundamental baking techniques including mixing methods, measurements, understanding flour types and flavorings. Learn the newest trends in dessert making, incorporating innovative techniques and ingredients, and staying updated. Immersing yourself in the world of pastry under expert guidance, to build a solid foundation for a successful career in this specialized culinary field.
Learning from a professional pasty chef, focus on specific techniques or recipes, observe and practice techniques in a real professional kitchen environment, receive personalized feed back and guidance just tailored to your skill level, learn new step-by-step detailed recipes and innovative techniques that you might not find in cookbooks.
With a total of 80 hours, 10 courses covering 10 topics, challenging yourself and grown your confidence and experience in this amazing pastry world.
